Default BD Cases Faulty

does anyone else have problems with your BD Cases, i have over 50 movies, and about 20 of them are broken right out the store. those small piece that hold the disc.

I know there are multiple type they have single piece insert, double piece, and multi piece.
Now it's not uncommon for me to have such bad luck, so does anyone else have this problem also ??

I might not have as many as some people, but I haven't had any problems. I'm closing in on 40 BDs.

I have 95 blu rays and I do have a few that are broken in the middle and they tend to all be the cases with the painted on blu ray logo like the ones Warner Bros. and Fox usually uses.

That is some bad luck my friend, I only have four so far but none came broken. My only advice would be to shake the case if buying at retailers, if you hear something small and "plastic" sounding rattleing around then get a different copy. But if you order from Amazon, ebay etc , then you might not have that option.

I've had a few that came broken (about 5 out of almost 100 I bought)
Those 5 were all shipped to me. When I buy something in the store I try to shake the case to see if the disc is lose (happened to 2 BDs I bought, but thanks to the new protective layer, they were still in mint condition - now if that would have been DVDs they would be scratched up pretty bad)

Just got a shipment of 20 cases from Sleevetown in the mail today

the first blu i bought was from amazon, planet earth. on of the center snaps was broken. that was it. i think its mainly from workers not giving a rats rear about what theyre doing.

Ya i have three cases that I bought broken.
POTC: AWE both the tabs were broken
Full Metal Jacket
Sunshine

The next Blurays i buy i will examine carefully before buying. The only way to tell that the push tabs in the case are broken is to shake the case and see if you can hear the bluray rattling around. And some places like Best Buy have their blurays in security cases and you cant examine the case until they take it out just before you buy them.

Hasn't happened for me..

Although the warner brothers cases feel so cheap to me.

You know where it looks like it is just stuck on are the ones i dont like..

Or any version without the blu-ray logo imbeded into the case.

i think you may be exaggerating, i dont see how you can have more than a few broken...why you ask?

because i have 144, and not one has been broken

if you aren't exaggerating, you DEFINITELY need to start buying your blus somewhere else

I lost a quarter of the center ring in shipping from Amazon on Harry Potter 2 - lost part of the holding clip on 300 when my friend leaned on my shelf and brought it down - but no bad luck compared to yours!

Opening your Blu-ray cases with a hammer is not recommended.
