Bought Japanese BD adult movies! - Blu-ray Forum

If you surf amazon.cp.jp, you will find couple BD titles you cannot pruchase outside Japan, as they are adult movies.

Recently, I am in Tokyo.

I went to a shop in Akihabara and I found these two!

I bought them and I think these two are the first two BD adult movies in the market.

Here are the covers.

I will go back to my home on Friday, and I will write a "review" on these two BD's

The same site that Deci posted a link for had another title for HD-DVD. A different title by a different studio.

Hopefully the porn studios get the right people to talk to so they can release quality titles on BD. Some early porn DVDs just look like crap because of single-layer discs and bad compression.

honestly, it wouldn't surprise me if some porn was actually on a CD and burned in some mom's basement.

I'm still looking for a few good blue-ray movie that are japanese type. That will play on the us Ps3. I like to find or buy some if I can. If anyone can help please do?

Play Asia has a good selection of import BD movies from Japan. No adult titles yet, but all the good Japanese stuff is there.

Sony isn't preventing porn to be put on blu-ray. They just aren't helping the porn industry and they don't want the porn companies to use the same facility that is doing the Disney movies.

HBO has a series that looks at the adult film biz. Japanese pr0n is far less explicit than US or European due to certain laws. According to the show, "Certain things" cannot be shown on camera.

prob is most japanese porn is too softcore, only the yakuza stuff is decent, but that usually gets passed around illegally and uncensored, no blu-ray *sobs*
