I've heard from a couple others looking for answers on a post I made a few days ago regarding my PS3 / Onkyo 605 setup. While watching a blu-ray, the Onkyo 605 makes several "clicking" noises. It seems to happen more with the PS3 set to LPCM than on bitstream, but I am not really 100% sure on that. The 605 seems to be switching between listening modes if I had to guess (based on the display - lights are going on & off again for HDMI, Multich & Direct). For example, while the FBI warning screen is on, it might be on Direct, then after that it'll "click" and change into Multich when the movie starts. Except it's worse than that, clicking right from the time I turn on the PS3. Is this normal, do other PS3/605 owners experience this? Is there a way to make it click less? By the way, all my Preferred Listening Modes are set to "Last Known".
