Warner doing it again...backorders on popular titles. - Blu-ray Forum

Well I thought Warner's shipping woes have been since corrected until today. I received an email stating I Am Legend is on backorder and will be shipped within 30 days. Now I can understand this if I ordered in the past two weeks, but my order was placed 1-2 months ago. This is getting ridiculous. The last time I ordered from them was with the whole Ocean's 13 debacle, and I then swore I would never order from them again. But 25% off was too good to be true and thought I would give them another chance. I guess that was a mistake...

Correct. Warner has too many ordering screw ups. Amazon only.

wow amazon has been great with dropping prices on some pre-orders 18.95 is wonderful... gotta love their price gurantee on pre orders

I picked mine up during the B2G1, along with Blade Runner and Shoot Em Up for 60 dollars. I didn't receive anything from them stating it was backordered...

I feel bad for anyone that had to deal with delays with their WB online shop orders. Ironically, when I ordered 4 movies from them twice last year (once in November and once in December), I ended up getting both orders in a timely manner. The November batch arrived in 14 days and the December batch in less than a week.

Late last year when they had all the problems, it seemed. to me that the newest orders were shipped first and the older orders last.

I ordered I am Legend a week ago in Warner's Buy 2 Get 1 Free. I just checked my e-mail and there's nothing from them yet. Hopefully, they will get their act together.

Blade Runner was mysteriously absent from the box when I made my B2G1 order. The email said 'Processing'.

They are always like that--I ordered 4 movies from them recently--Assassination of Jesse James, Twilight Zone, Michael Clayton, and Galapagos. For some reason it took them the longest to send Galapagos--like a month. I order from them if I don't really care how long it takes to arrive...

As much as I love WB as a studio, NO ONE SHOULD ORDER ANYTHING FROM THEM!!!! Take this from the guy who ordered "The Matrix" from them many years ago and it took almost 4 months to get it. I finally cancelled the order and they ended up sending it anyway.

Well now the funny thing is that I checked www.myexpresscheckout.com, and it shows that it shipped UPS Next Day Air on Friday the 14th. Hmmm...obviously the right hand doesn't know what the left is doing...

Interesting: The exact same thing happened to me. I was about to order from Amazon but when I read your post I decided to check, too. Lo and behold, there it is with a UPS tracking number. And it's scheduled to arrive the day before the official release date!

Hmmm, curious ...
