Default Your Favorite Blu-Ray Soundtrack & What soundtrack are you looking forward to?

I was thinking about this last night, my favorite Blu-Soundtrack to date has been Hairspray but in the future wouldn't it be nice to throw it into iTunes and rip just the songs. Just a thought...

Looking forward to soundtracks for:

Boogie Nights (just so I can crank that scene with Jessies girl)
The Doors
Nightmare Before Christmas

How bout you, my Blu friends?

Dave and Tim:Radio City is a beautiful thing to behold. Fantastically amazing (and i'm not a huge fan). For movies, i, robot is top notch (I'm sure the HDMA track is even better). Cars is also amazing, especially the beginning.

looking forward to, soudtrack wise? Matrix (dodging bullets scene), Saving Private Ryan Normandy scene, I could go on and on....

The Last Waltz and Purple Rain. Ratatouille has a great soundtrack, in my opinion. I'm especially eager to hear Neil Young's Archives. Woodstock should be something to look forward to, as well.

Oh, uh, I was going to say Sunshine but since you clarified your post, Run Lola Run. I think it's considered techno but whatever music they were playing through most of the movie, I liked it.

Saturday Night Fever is probably one that I'm looking forward to. Can it get any better than a movie full of songs by the Bee Gees? I'm kidding but I am looking forward to that one.

I'm really looking forward to Selena also but who knows if they'll release the movie on blu-ray or not. Love the soundtrack though.

I thought the songs in the movie Moulin Rouge (2001) worked well in the movie but I'm not sure I'd want to listen to a CD of it or anything. Maybe the original versions though.

Edit: Can't believe I forgot about Purple Rain. Just saw one of the other posts. Purple Rain is probably my favorite that's out now, followed by Run Lola Run.

Tie between Hairspray and Live Free or Die Hard. The ending is sick. Looking the most forward to hearing True Lies, Jurassic Park or Alien and Aliens.

Yes! I literally just finished watching that with my parents. My mom loved it an she usually hates Johnny Depp and Tim Burton movies. Elfman's score is so beautiful (though all his movies soundtracks so SOOO similar and different at the same time).

Another one in a simular vein is the sound track from Star Man. Beautiful, melancholy and again.... mesmerizing.

Definitely, anything by Danny Elfman (from Eddy over Batman to Spiderman).

For action scores I really like Alan Silvestris 'Back to the Future' and 'Volcano'. They are so huge sounding and just a lot of fun.

Hans Zimmers 'Gladiator' is always a joy to listen to.

And I'm not even beginning to list the beautiful scores by John Williams.... Well, yes I am: Star Wars, Schindler's list, Indiana Jones, E.T.,....

I love the soundtrack to "The Big Lebowski". Of course I love everything about that movie. Same goes for most Scorsese and Tarantino movies. They just pick out great songs. Fear and Loathing In Las Vegas has a killer soundtrack as well. And Blow. Rock Star's is pretty interesting, I like the original songs on that one. Here's the one I would most look forward to though is Tenacious D in the Pick of Destiny. Great.
