Athena Technologies WS-60 Wall-Mountable Speaker- Any good??? - Blu-ray Forum

Hi everyone, These spealers are on www.woot.com for $89.99 and they look pretty good. Anyone know if these are any good??? They also have a matchinsubwoofer for it on sllout.woot.com for I believe $104.99. Should I just save my money for the Paradigm Mini Monitors I am thinking of getting instead? Please giv eme some advice. Thanks.

I don't know anything about them, but I can tell you that a "matching" sub isn't necessary. I would purchase a sub separately from a company that specializes in them.

I own one and use it for my center channel, I had a bose center, and picked up this on a whim for 75 and for a center it's awesome, but they only go down to 60hz, so not much for LFE. So a seperate sub is a must. I can't recomend a sub without a budget range.

keep saving your money, you will just get what you really want later anyway and with the money you spend on those you could have gotten it sooner

Thanks for the replies. I've decided to save my money and I'm gonna get the Paradigm Monitor 7's instead.
