Default Rumored Fox MGM titles

Blu-ray.com has said these are just rumored for 2008 but the list seems too varied to not get our hopes up. 'Walk The Line', 'Batman: The Movie (1966)', 'The French Connection', 'Super Troopers', 'Fargo', 'The X-Men Trilogy', 'Planet of the Apes (1968)', and 'Young Frankenstein' are all listed. Young Frankenstein would rock on blu and im interested to see how a black and white film looks on blu(is there any release out there now in B&W? Walk the Line, Fargo and the first two X-Men would be release day buys for me. This is a good sign for MGM to be mentioned, hopefully their 2008 releases will be ones worth some salt (i.e Silence of the Lambs, Red Dawn, )

Too many people on here are way too concerned about what has been previously posted. Its not as though its a "When is LoTR or Star Wars coming to BD". Some of us need to give people a break.

To rescue the thread, however, check out "20 Million Years to Earth" for vintage B&W, "Good Night and Good Luck" for modern B&W, and Young Frankenstein's never even had an anamorphic wide version from Fox until now, WOOHOO!

Young Frankenstein and Planet of the apes are must buys for me. Might get the Batman movie just for nostalgia purposes.

I own the anamorphic DVD of Young Frankenstein but the transfer is still not that good.

Remember seeing that with a rowdy movie-festival audience, who, of course, had to whinny anytime anyone onscreen said the B-word--
So, naturally, when Marty Feldman sticks his head out the door for one last "--Blucher! "...
