Exclamation Can someone share some info?

I have a Core 2 Duo CPU,
my graphics card is the nVidea 8600 GTS Plus
and I have the Viewsonic 22'' LCD Monitor (VX2245WM)

And I need to know if that monitor while allow me to play Blu-Ray,
since I was thinking of getting a blu-ray drive.
The drive I was going to get was the
ASUS BC-1205PT

Will I be able to use this drive on my computer?
