Default PC video Connection

Cannot play BD discs. Using a PC. Just bought a BD drive and have a new tv. The drive came with PowerDVD BD version. This is a lite version just to get you started. My problem by using Cyberlink's BD advisor;it gives me all green lights(HDCP compliant) except the last one. The video connection is red telling me my HDMI is not HDCP ready. I have a DVI to HDMI connection. What gets me is that the specs of my tv reads:HDMI-HDCP(2) and HDCP ready:Yes

I do not want to spend $80 for the Ultra version and have the same problem. I do not want to connect my PC to the analog connection on my tv and lose quality.

Anyone have any ideas. Thanks

put in a support ticket at cyberlink, you should get an answer in 2 days or so

im guessing its the software's problem...
or try a better cable... where did you get yours?
walmart has them on the cheap, 14 bucks i think...

try this, unplug the hdmi until you hear the tone from the computer. then plug it back in. i had to do this for my dvi connection a couple of times when i got the hdcp error.

If you have an ATI graphics card upgrade your drivers to 8.1 or above. This cures some HDCP errors.

You could also try anydvd hd which will allow you to play blu-ray over a connection that is not HDCP compliant. There is a trial version available.

HDCP copy protection protocol would not allow two simultaneous displays. HDCP could cause issues, if you are connecting to both displays (monitor and TV) simultaneously.
