Dungeon Siege any good?
I know it's Boll, but heard this one is not too bad.
Would like to see Postal though!

Lady Vengeance, just bought the Tartan release half a year ago, along with Oldboy, Sympathy for Mr Vengeance and Tetsuo. Wouldn't mind getting any of these on BD.

Severance was very good, saw it at the 2007 Hawaii International Film Fest, will pick this one up at some point.

Highlander... uhm, dunno! I just borrowed Season 1 from a friend and it is sooooo cheesy. The acting is quite bad, I wish I would've enjoyed it more as I remember really liking the show back in the 90s when it first aired!

Born to Fight might be a rental at bests for me. I cannot really get into those films. I have Ong Bak, only watched it once, very cool stunts and action, but a bit weird. Saw Tom Yum Goong also at the HIFF, the staircase scene is incredible, but the rests was a bit boring.

Anyone ever hear of a movie called One Nite in Mongkok? I would like to get a hold of that one on BD!

Don't know about the prices of these, but if they are priced like most BDs in Europe, I sure won't buy any of them. Amazon France is selling BDs in the 25-30 euro range (up to about 50$!). So far all my BDs, with one or two exceptions, are import.

I am sure once the user adaption grows they'll offer them cheaper as well.
But you're right 30 Euros is way too much. The only imports I would get are foreign language movies as the US lacks in releasing them either in a timely manner or at all!

Wow, you have just about every film ever released, don't you? As for Boll, I'm just going to avoid him at all costs. House of the Dead war sehr schreklich! Ich kann nicht vergessen.

It's also really annoying at how expensive BD's are in Europe. Sales are also very rare. I just wish that some distributors start releasing actual German films.

I wish German films were more popular in Germany/Austria/Schweiz. It seems like they only really like Hollywood action films.

LOL! Nah, I don't have them all!!
My Netflix rented movies list is about 1500 strong (since 2002).
I love to watch movies and when I get a chance I will do so, which to me is the best way of relaxing after a stressful workday.

And yes, Boll's movies suck a**!!! However I want to see what Postal is all about, gotten quite some publicity for its "content".

I wish German movies would be more popular period. At least in the last couple of years there have been some higher end productions instead of all the cheesy made for TV or wanna be action flicks that were produced especially in the 90s. There is definitely a demand for it, it just seems to be hard to find a capable director and good actors with what little money they get with the help of different German "Filmstiftungen".
I just got Sophie Scholl in the mail and can't wait to watch it, heard a lot of good things about the movie.

Highlander The Series with Adrian Paul. Had like 5 or 6 seasons I believe.
I used to watch this show whenever it was broadcast and loved it back in the day. Now it's just bad.... Raven was just awful to begin with!!
I love the first movie, the second one is crap, but enjoyed the one with Mario van Peebles in it, haven't bothered checking out any of the other ones, yet.

I just asked this in another thread last night, but haven't gotten any feedback, so I thought it might be a better idea to post here.

Blu-ray cases. We know that the UK versions are thicker, how about importing from other countries? Germany, France etc..
The reason I ask is, that I am getting an order ready from amazon.de and have it shipped to my folks in Germany, who then send me a big care package in a while, sometimes I ask them to take the DVDs out of their cases to save space and also a little bit of weight (I know they are light, but if you order 20 movies that will be a few oz and can cost quite a bit on postage).
Now I already bought some empty BD cases over here, just want to make sure that the sleeve will fit in there properly as I don't want to cut them down or anything (blasphemy! ).

Any experiences?

German cases are USUALLY thin (like the American ones) but occasionally you will find a thicker case.

Great, thanks for the input!

I guess the best way to determine is if I just measure it here and then let my folks measure the ones that are coming in to make sure then.

I am thinking of importing this movie: Days of Glory

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Days-Glory-B...7208251&sr=8-1

Seen it before and really liked it.
Does anyone know how likely a US release is.

And then some questions about the disc (hope that someone might have it)

It just states language: english
Does it have the original french audio with english subs?
Read somewhere that the movie is region free, however the special features since not being in HD might not work on US players.
Any other suggestions as to where I could get this for cheaper?

Thanks
