few questions about guitar hero III for 360

i recently bought the game and i have a few questions:

1) is there any way to get new songs or "add ons" without xbox live? (such as a usb)

2) does the guitar that came with it work with guitar hero I & II?

3) IS THERE ANYWAY TO GET A JIMI HENDRIX SONG IN THE GAME? (possibly an add-on or download or something?)

2. Guitar hero one isn't on the xbox but yes for GH 2

thanks for the reply...it says you can purchase these 3 song packs of groups for 500 points...what does that mean?

You can download 1 pack of 3 songs off the XBL market place for 500 MS points. There is a Foo Fighters Pack, No Doubt Pack, and a couple of others I believe.

heads up about the downloads...... my downloaded songs disappear constantly! all i gotta do is log in to LIVE to get them back, but its still a pain since my xbox is often not connected to the internet because i don't have wireless and my router is about 80 feet away, hate having the cord running through the house.

the tv shows you download are the same way, you have to be signed in to live to play them even once they are downloaded, understandable a little because of pirating, but i don't understand why the game add-ons are the same way, really lame as far as i am concerned.

how do you get MS points?

2) It should work with GH2 for the 360, not sure about GHI.
3) Wait for a release on Xbox Live

You can buy a 1600 point card at Best Buy etc. They usually cost about $20.
