Default Do Yamaha RX-V663,863 have DTS HD MA decoding bug

Title says all...

The DTS HD MA bug (loud sound on certain DTS HD MA tracks) is reported on the 1800/3800 in avs forums.

Yes, it does. There have been documented problems with certain receivers when decoding DTS-HD MA tracks, where a very loud POP can be heard during playback. I have not heard it in person, but the recording I listened to was very startling, to say the least.

Only certain receiver models are subject to this, because they contain a particular decoding chip. DTS is working on a fix, so it won't affect future releases. Search the forums and you'll find all the details.
