using the PS3 with an LG Env cell phone.. - Blu-ray Forum

I have tried and tried to download the mp3's I have stored on my ps3 to my LG env phone and nothing seems to work. I tried connecting my phone to the PS3 and it only recognizes it as an "unknown usb device." Also, I downloaded my mp3's directly onto my phone's memory card. I know the songs are there because the memory is used but my phone still does not recognize that the songs are there. Can ANYONE help me with this? Unfortunately I do not have a home computer right now so this is my only option.

I'm not too familiar with the 20/60/80 GB models, but it's not impossible that those have card readers for the memory card you have, if you have any of those models.

If the phone uses a specific folder for music then it's not going to see the transferred music because the PS3 probably puts it in:

phone:\PS3\MUSIC\ (or something like that)

The PS3 has no way of knowing where to transfer the music to for the phone to recognise it. Maybe in a future System Software you'll be able to choose a specific destination folder.
