Does Magnavox sell a Blu-ray player?

Someone told me that Magnavox sold a blu-ray player. Does anyone know if this is true and the model number to it? Thanks.

It's true, but it's not due for release until ~June. Musicdirect, for example, says June 20, though we all know how flexible the dates are.

Marantz and Magnavox are two WAY different things - a Magnavox Blu-Ray player would be $200, not $2,000.

Magnavox is owned by Philips, so it's likely we will see a budget BD player with the Magnavox badge if/when Blu-ray really takes off. Marantz, associated with higher-quality components, is owned by the same company that holds Denon.
