Default what blu-ray player should be set to
for a 720p tv, if i set the blu-ray player to 1080p instead of 720p will i get better picture or just the same as if it was on 720p

your TV most likley will not accept the 1080p signal.

If your TV is 720p....then set the Bluray player at 720p.
