The excellent German film "Lives of Others" is released as a locked region B title in Germany. Unfortunately, I think that Sony cut the English subtitles from this release. I'm mentioning this because I assume that you are in the UK.

Shooter had a region A and B release. Cant speak for the A release but the B release can be found fairly easy -at least where I live as most London Zavvi's (formerly Virgin Megastores) in central London have it in stock.

Gattaca is regions ABC, so is easily imported from such as amazon.com.

Gattaca and Reservoir Dogs are available in Holland

The 5th Element is available in Australia. I don't think it is region locked.

I have both of these from the USA and they work fine on my PS3 UK

btw, if you get 5th element, make sure its the remastered version

pick up The 5th Element from US, it's ABC, and as mentioned, pick REMASTERED VERSION..

btw. there are several sites with info about region coding on us titles, and many of them are region free !!

90% of my blu-rays are from US and working nicely on region B player
