iTrader feedback system up and going. - Blu-ray Forum

Everyone should know that you can now leave feedback for people you're buying/selling/trading with. You can go back and leave feedback for previous transactions too, but I think you can only leave 3 a day...not positive, but after 3 it wouldn't let me leave anymore today. I just wanted to say thanks for the new feedback system and it should be very helpful.

I did have one question though...it looks like you can leave feedback for people that you didn't even have a transaction with. How can we keep from people abusing this and ruining feedback for those they don't like? Is there a way to remove unwarranted feedback or is this too much to ask for?

EDIT: I searched for iTrader and only an old thread about HDD came up, but now I noticed Josh has a thread going about the new trading system...please delete if this is redundant.

that was my concern from the start. seems this could easily just turn into a popularity contest.

My other question of course would be how do we get all of the existing feedback into our profiles?

Yeah...I'm sure most people will not resort to that kind of behavior, but there is likely going to be a few dummies who don't care for BD or this site and probably will mess with you if you come in contact with them.

It's as easy as clicking on the person's trading score you wish to leave the feedback for. It's all up to your memory though.

I guess the limit would be in place because you could leave feedback for anyone...maybe it'll ease with feedback reversal if someone gets out of hand?

Yep, I got it now, I rated my first 3 trades, and I guess I just have to wait for them to return the favor.

Can't remember either, though it was a trade, rather than a purchase.

I just went to the feedback thread, https://forum.blu-ray.com/showthread.php?t=3192&page=57, and did a search for my name, and that's how I found all of the people.

We are temporarily allowing people to make up to 30 trading ratings per day, so everyone can "fix" their old trades. We'll lower this when everyone's done.

DOH! I still have the limit though for 1 person, there are a couple people I need to leave feedback for more than once... any chance you could "fix" that as well for a short period of time? Thanks! :-)
