If this is true EA would get a backlash from both the industry and the buying public the likes of which no one has ever seen before.

Well, if the takeover is completed in time before GTA IV, then it could be delayed. I doubt it though. They aren't that retarded...Well, then again, you never know.

As far as I know, EA hasn't succeeded at their hostile takeover of Take Two, so even Michael Pachter's speculation wouldn't come to fruition.

GTA4 is still on schedule for April 29.

I hate EA. They give us lousy ports and there's advertisements all over their games (more than other games). I'm personally not going to buy GTA IV, but if they delay it just to improve their bottom line, there are a lot of people who might boycott EA.

The problem is EA IS that retarded!
If EA causes a delay of GTA IV. I vow I will NEVER buy another game created or published by EA again in my life.
