Default Nightmare before Christmas 3D Blu?

There is a rumor that Nightmare will come out in September. Now with Hannah Montana being 3D coming with 4 pairs of 3D glasses. I was wondering if you guys think the same will happen with Nightmare before Christmas since it too is a Disney movie that was released in Digital 3D, although, Meet the Robinsons was released in 3D as well

The Nightmare Before Christmas is a masterpiece. Hopefully, it will be announced.

Man I hope so, it's brilliant, and the 3D version is pretty cool.

What kind of 3D are they even talking about with these Blu-ray discs? If it's the old paper glasses with the red and blue lenses then count me out. I don't know how they can possibly get full color 3D to work without a polarizing method (and that's typically only good for reflective projection screens).

FWIW, I watched The Nightmare Before Christmas in RealD at a D-cinema equipped Carmike theater. The 3D quality was OK, but not great. Artificially created 3D doesn't work very well. I thought the artificial 3D on Superman Returns just plain sucked. And that was dual 15/70mm IMAX 3D. OTOH, Beowulf, a movie rendered with two native camera "eye" views for true 3D looked fantastic in RealD Digital 3D.

Yes. There isn't much else you can do, without making it incompatible with nearly everything. It won't look anything like Real-D.

i hate to break it to all of you but the 3d wont be the same as the digital 3d in the theatres, 3d digital projection uses polarized lens.
the lens comming with the hannah montana bluray are the regular old style red and blue paper glasses.

also nightmare before christmas has been out in theatres in realD 3d(or disney digital 3d as they have branded it) every sept since 2006.

it will be great when the movie comes out on bluray but i wouldnt expect it be in 3d

It should be around in september (as mentioned before). It has not officially been announced, but it is on the Dutch release list (as well as finding nemo).

Hope it comes out with some great special features but, I don't think I'd want it in 3-D. That is unless both versions come on the disk.
