they already have the points cards in Japan dont they? Sony does need to get their asses in gear to get those cards to NA.

The current store has the option for prepaid cards, unfortunately they're not available in the US yet, only in Japan.

Just repeating what everyone else said...

I don't like the way you charge up your account. I'd rather they charged for what you want, rather than having 5, 10, 15, 20 or whatever top up then you spend 3.99 on something with 1.01 left. You will always end up with odd amounts.

They do... don't prefund your wallet. If you have less than is needed, and you add to cart and then check out, they will only take the exact amount needed to fund the transaction. I do it all the time.

ive always wanted to purchase stuff off psn, but always seem to hesitate due to... er... i guess just being paranoid (sorry, blame my 3 days of condor movie).

anyways, i plan to make purchases, but dont know which ones to get just yet.

so yes, a 'prepaid' card looks good. and hopefully would work for us.

Same here but I think they have a minimum charge now. For a while, I think it worked on any price but the last few times I've purchased something under $5, it ended up charging $5 and showing a balance left in my account.
