Default PS3 Button

Is it possible, or do you think Sony will introduce a way, to disable the PS3 button during gameplay? My thumb has often slipped on to the PS3 button during frantic games of FIFA 08 and other games and has cost me!!!

Anyone else experience this or am i just clumsy??

I would say clumsy.

How can you touch the PS3 button in the middle of a game...?

Your primary buttons are all on the right side...

If you try to hit the start button to pause, your thumb could accidentally slip and hit the PS button?

It won´t happen, cause I know that the START button is more on the right side, and not in the middle...

Coordination my friend.

Op must be clumsy hitting ps button. My hands are kinda big for the controller, but ive never hit ps or start during games. I have no issue keeping my thumbs on the sides.

I've had my thumb slip off the right stick while playing NHL 08 a number of times.

It's unlikely they would add a feature to disable the button, because it's required for things critical to the controllers function, such as... turning it on and off, and setting its ID.

Unfortunately, you'll just have to learn to not hang your thumbs over the edge of the analog sticks, or maybe you could come up with a homemade solution such as filing the button down, or putting something hard over it.

Tend to always... Intersting use of language my friend.

I never had this problem, but I also have smaller hands. I can see how it might be a problem for those with meathooks.

The only button i've accidentally hit was L3 while playing orange box, moving with left analog stick dodging past some hunters I would always crotch... but hey the crotch and movement keys are on the same stick.
