As you all know this tuesday sees Sony release update v2.30 for the Play Station 3, giving us all the delights of dts HDMA

. I ask you what will be the first movie that you watch or should i say hear? For me i think it will have to be either I,ROBOT (for the car vs Robots on expressway) or SHOOT 'EM UP (too many hi-lights to mention). I myself will have to wait until the 29th as i'm off to Koh Samui and Koh Phi Phi (The Beach) for a couple of weeks. Let us know what will be your first dts HDMA movie and why.

Nah i live and work in Bangkok. So going south for some R&R. Used to do it about every 2 months or so but haven't done it in a while. Sorry about repeating thread.

I already own copies of the Close Encounters ultimate collectors edition and Independence Day. Both have DTS-HD MA on them. May give [I]CETK[I] another spin to check out the DTS-HD feature.

This is sacrilege I know but my first movie of full DTS MA will most likely be Juno, as I am renting on Tuesday. Then I am breaking out some John McClane and Live Free or Die Hard!

Only movie I have on blu with DTS HD MA is actually Rocky Balboa. The scandinavien releases are actually very lame when it comes to AQ since they mostly only use Dolby Digital or DTS only..

I'll pop in the import of U571 I picked up off amazon.uk last year. It's DTS-HD MA and should sound great.

I bought Hitman yesterday so I could watch a movie I've never seen and listen to it with an audio codec I've also never heard.

In order for it to play in true DTS-HD, does the PS3 have to be hooked to the receiver with an HDMI. Because I have a receiver thats a couple of years old and it don't have HDMI, I have it hooked up with an optical cable.
