Default MLB 08 the show - 1080P?

it says on the box that it's full 1080P but it says on the game menu that it runs best at 720P. I have a 1080P tv and it says it is running at 720P and not 1080P. is there some setting I am missing here? does anybody know whats going on with this?

ps - the Show is like 20 times better than 2K8. 2K8 is garbage!!!! don't buy it.

I have "The Show 08" and it runs at 1080p on my SXRD. I have my ps3 to output all setting's and 1080p is what it displays in... don't know what wrong with you set up... sorry.

ps-you are correct, the show is amazing!

It runs at 1080p and 720p but you have disable all other resolutions in display settings in order to force it to run at 1080p. At 1080p it runs at 30fps and at 720p it runs at 60fps. The game at 720p resolution also has a more dynamic camera presentation. Personally, I prefer to play it at 720p.

True, but I'll take 60fps any day of the week over 30fps
