I'm watching Larry King Live right now and OF COURSE he's got a group of these women from that polygamy sect on there (as CNN has been all of them for days on end now).

Ummm so yeah peoples opinions on this whole crazy thing?

Personally just watching these women on tv scares the crap out of me. They're so robotic and they just talk so weird. I don't know what it is. They just don't seem human to me. This one woman from the compound was on the video showing CNN the different rooms and talking about what they do day to day. They showed the great hall where they eat and how the children are supposedly happy.

It just all seems so fake to me. However if nothing wrong has occurred then they should get their kids back but truthfully I think all those kids would be better off with a nice foster family that will love them and help them adjust to the real world.

EDIT: If this thread becomes a lil to controversial then feel free to close it or delete mods. I was just curious as to what people thought about this situation or polygamy in general.

It's a sad state of affairs really. Stuff like that can cause a lot of mental anguish and problems, the women can get into a victim mentality, to where even though they are being mistreated by the man, they will fight to the death for him. It's quite a mess for them.
