im not sure if i should get it or not, but it is on sell for $19.99.

I can't really convince you to or not. It's a movie and it's a movie that some people love and others find boring or even hate it. It's a unique yet (IMO) excellent movie. However for $19 you really can't go wrong cuz you can just resell it on the forums for nearly what you paid for it.

the play quality and audio was amazing and everyone who has seen the blu-ray version seems to agree on that. im actually suprised its only $19.99 this week. look at the reviews https://www.blu-ray.com/movies/movie...45&show=review a perfect score

If you've never seen it then why not just rent it first?

It's the sort of movie you might like if you enjoyed Gattaca, for example.

I feel the same way as the OP. At that price, I'm getting it though. I'm trying to figure out which version to watch.. I usually go with the Directors Cut first on a movie I haven't seen. Anyone want to tell me which version is best?

If you haven't seen the Director's Cut, then see it first. I saw it in theatres a month before the Blu-ray release, and watched the workprint first.

You have to let Blade Runner grow on you....It takes time. I hated it the first time....now I enjoy my briefcase set!

You didn't say if you've seen it before or not, but if you have and you like it you won't go wrong getting the blu version. You will not believe that this is a 25 yr old film, I think the PQ and AQ are awesome!!

I've seen it so many times over the years that I sometimes have a hard time watching it (the original DVD was so bad...), but yeah when Blade Runner was first announced for hi-def release was when I bought my player in anticipation. Was well worth the wait (and so far I've still just watched the first disk -- which was stunning!!). Thanks for reminding me that I have some extras still to check out.

Never even thought about watching the movie.. Too much of a back log lol.

This may be true because I've only watched it once and thought it was OK, don't know that it would grow on me though...

Convince you ? Are you not a fan of Blade Runner ? They took a lot of time to make this movie look kick $%^& ASS !

Just buy it and watch it. I have wasted more money at a Mexican joint than on any version of Blade Runner !

Blade Runner is a great Sci Fi film. A great job done by Warner in this one. If you have to ask, you probably won't like it.
