"No Country For Old Men" misprint on the case - Blu-ray Forum

Hi,

I don´t know if theres already a thread about it (couldn´t find one) but I noticed that the back of the case says "Bonus: 480i"

But it´s actually 480p

anybody else has this misprint on it ?

your tv probably de-interlaces the signal.

But why should the TV do this ?

usually it´s from "P" to "i" and not the other way around.

Maybe it´s because my tv is from europe. (other signals ?!)

If you guys have time, check out what your tv´s are saying.

I dont ever watch the special features anyhow, unless the movie was good and I wanted to see what excerpts they have, very rare though

What player are you using? There's no way to get the PS3 to output 480i if you're using HDMI.

I'm guessing it's also a misprint since on the back cover it says, "480i High Definition" and there's no way 480i is HD but only SD.

I use a PS3.

Is it now a misprint on the cover, or is something else "wrong" ?

PS3+HDMI= ALL 480i -> 480p

The names aren't a misprint. It's how the billing is done. Will Ferrell (for instance) gets top billing, so his name is first. The photo however is according to the style they're going for.
