Default How long will it take for the prices of 1080p TVs to drop more?

I'm looking to get one once they start to get in the $1000-1500 40+" range in the near future. How long does it usually take for the pricing effects of CES to trickle down the retail system?

Thanks in advance.

edit: I just noticed that this is in the wrong forum. If a mod could move it it would be greatly appreciated.

Give it until March when older models will be discounted as newer CES models will start to arrive.

Also the financial year end for most companies is April 1st, so they will be looking to make as many sales as possible to boost revenue for their financial statements to the stock market.
