Problems with Nyko Frontman guitar for PS3 (bad instructions)

I just had the Nyko Frontman delivered for PS3 and fired it up to play Rock Band. Despite pressing the 'sync' buttons several times the guitar is unable to establish the wireless connection.

Has anyone else had this problem? What did you do to solve it?

I checked the Nyko site and there isn't anything listed under "Troubleshooting" except "Coming soon..."

After waiting forever to get the stickin' guitar, I'm not real happy.

Thanks, Dodger. I thought I had the right place!

Anyway, just got off the phone with Nyko. The guitar is fine- it's the INSTRUCTIONS that are wrong. Thought I'd post this JIC anyone else runs into this issue.

The instructions say press the foot pedal, then the Nyko button on the guitar to sync. It it doesn't work, hit both again, etc. Well....it seems you need to hit the Nyko button THREE times. Once to turn it on, once for something else, then the 3rd time to sync. Kind of stupid, but whatever. Ready to rock now- with 4 players instead of 3.

How is the Nyko Guitar? I find the Rock Band guitar has little feel to it, and that the strum doesn't pull back to the center and click between notes like most Guitar Hero guitars do.

Is this one more like the GH or RB guitar?

So far it seems pretty good. Feels more the GH than RB guitar. The buttons are a bit farther apart and there are no 'solo' buttons (like the RB guitar), but the buttons feel solid and the strum bar has that 'click' to it that was missing from the Rock Band guitar.

Only tried a few songs, I'll see how it holds up over time. So far, so good.
