Inside my TV
Exclamation Resident Evil:Apocalypes Now Shipping!!!!111

Great news for those who pre-ordered this movie on Amazon.com. I had just recieved an email regarding this title being shipped today, Although it says delivery estimate of the 15th. its shipping from Sparks NV, and even if i were to chose ground for shipping it only takes 24-32hrs to get delivered.

Im really phyced about this title. Is the current specs for this title changed from what it was originally for or did they add any more goodies for us who had been waiting ages? OMG this is the best news ive had all week aside from all the CES Goodies we all had.

Honestly, I thought this movie was one huge mess. The first one wasn't too shabby, but they really screwed this one up.

Seriously, that motorcycle stunt in the church... c'mon. While it's obvious that this is a zombie flick, but I cringe at when somebody do a out-of-the-world stunt like the motorcycle stunt in the church because it's obviously impossible and unbelievable.

To me the only interesting thing about the movie was how they incorporated Toronto landmarks into it.

Default Resident Evil 2

Yeah my copy shipped today too and I will have it tomorrow, but I wish it was the first movie as the first movie was so mutch better, and the music score by Marlin Manson was great.Dont understand why Sony would not do the first film first? But I'm sure Sony will release it soon. The 2nd film did have it's momments thoe I liked the school scene.I also thought it was funny seeing the bully from A Christmas Story in the movie.

The reasons I thought RE Apocalypse was much better (or entertaining) than RE1 were:
1) The tyrant and its near-invincibility
2) STARS team was pretty cool (until they get wasted by the tyrant)

but most importantly...

3) Mike Epps (the guy from Next Friday and Friday after Next) is always so funny

The movie was pretty lame though, but entertaining enough.

I liked the first one a lot more then the second. The second movie got to stupid as to what they were trying to achieve. The coolest thing about RE2 was the telekinetic power Alice (i think) seemed to get before she broke out at the end.

The scene in the graveyard made no sense either. Im still not sure why Jill Valentine can kick that much ass. Great, shes part of STARS, but she should still not be so matrix like. The way the zombies were explained in the fisrt movie would make it impossible for the "dead to rise" in the graveyard. You needed to be infected when you were somewhat alive. There still needs to be some brain activity.
RE2 seemed like the better action flick out of the two but exchanged a coherent story with matrix style (god help me.... house of the dead style) Action.
I also hated the Nemesis project, but i understand why they fealt the need to stick to it with the game and all.

let's not debate the legitimacy of a movie. the movie will make for some good demo material and is a popcorn flick good for ocassional viewing. it's based on a video game, so it's not like the whole "this can't happen, it's so unreal" line really applies.... enjoy BD movies for what they are, HI-DEF
