Front Page - Blu-ray Forum

Would it be difficult to break down the subforums on the front page? List say the 5-10 most recent for each subforum, instead of one big mess of threads?

I think the front page should just be movie discussion, no hot deals or trading stuff should be there. People visit the site for information on movies and hardware, not for joe schmo tradings or a 5.00 half coupon.

There are seven trading threads on the front page right now. I think having it's own section on the front page makes sense. Maybe a seperate section for PS3 games too on the front page.

I am sure at this time of night there is less traffic and the "bump for the night" doesnt help

There is the traffic issue, but even more so, I for one would like to see these devided up in sections so it isn't so hap hazzard to find games, Movies and Trading threads on the front page.

Catagories work great and you know just where to go to find what you are interested in.

I would be willing to bet the websites designer had the intention of providing up to the date News and the top discussed threads at the time, just a tease to get you to click persay. We could all sit here and nit pick at it but I am sure in time they will make changes to adjust.

This is a good idea which we will implement shortly. In the future we can also make it customizeable which sections you want to see and in what order etc.

Well, we also plan to make the site skinnable, so everyone can either pick their favorite from a default selection, or make their own.
