Can we limit the number of bumps in a given time period?

Personally I think the limit should be one per day. I am new to building my collection and I try to go through as many trade threads each day as I can to find the movies I want, however with the endless bumps and meaningless conversations, it alway keeps the same batch on the front page as I go through them. How will anyone else ever get their stuff seen? One bump per day is plenty. It gives everyone a chance to make some deals.

with 50-100 active threads at one time, Its hard to stay on top

But good luck with building the collection, LMK I have alot of older titles if interested

I can understand an honest bump to update a new listing but I see bumps for the morning, afternoon, evening, before i go to bed, because I am bored etc.

I really try to limit my bumps to once a week because its just uncouth.

This drama thats going on in the trade section needs to be removed from the trade section. We have an incredible amount of bull...in the trade forum. Nonne else has a "Big Brother" type trade thread. The reason you get pms about coupons is you host coupons on another forum. Google your name,coupon Over 1000 +++coupon related things. Thats why you get PMs for coupons. I thought it was against the rules

. I think the "HotDeals" from that site need to stay there, Are we that lazy we cant read the Target/BB ad ourselves?

Its just my rant but I know numerous members have expressed the same issue via Pms and idle coversation. I am not asking to get anybody in trouble, but just a tone down!!!!! Its ruining the trade forum.

Nothing personal against him as I am sure he does mean well, He does provide us some deals. I just think all a trade thread needs to be, and I am sure thats what it was intended for is to buy,sell,and trade items to other members. I dont want to see it abused and removed or otherwise.

On another (very popular) tech forum I visit, they have a bump policy of 6 hours apart. It seems to work pretty well. People can bring their stuff to the front a few times a day and others don't get their stuff buried by meaningless junk.
