PS3 problem:Trying to download COD4 update. - Blu-ray Forum

Sorry wrong forum topic. Mods please move it, thanks!. OK, I just got COD4(lovin' it) and I really want to play online. So I go to download the update,I sign in and it starts to download. It stays at 1% for a few minutes, then the Playstation network times out. My internet connection is good but when ever I try and do the update the Internet/playstation network time out. Any advice? Thanks.

if your using wifi, change to wired....might work

Yep. Try resetting your router and modem before you try downloading it. That worked for me on other downloads.

it might be their servers are just overloaded. i bought the new maps when they first came out on thursday. took forever to download them. but they are a lot of fun once you do

. i was playing deathmatch 3 maps all weekend.

Thats for your advice, I will try them soon. And to kevinbr100: I know the maps are good but are they worth the 10.00$
