Default surge protectors

This is a little advice on surge protectors. If you live in an area that is always losing power and the power comes on all the time, than I suggest that You get your surge protector looked at. A lot of us don't know how fast a surge can go through a surge protector and destroy tv's, dvd players, and basically anything that we have plugged into the surge protector. What I would do If I were you who had that PS3 dying two times is actually taking your surge protector apart and looking at the inside of it to make sure that it is still working properly. If you plug something into a bad surge protector it will cause that device to stop working even fry it to death. I'm not saying that it could be the surge protector or anything, but I would have it looked completely taken apart.
