Default Suggestions to shut up yappers at the theatre

Whats some unique or best ways you've ever told some one to "shut up" at the theater? Last Night at Iron Man, two teenage girls were driving me nuts, just consistently yapping during the previews and the movie, I've never been able to blurt stuf out that I wanted, and of course you dont wanna yell out "Shut the F up juno" at youngsters, Just wonderin if any of you have a response to these type of people? What you usually say, or somethin hilarious that will get the point accross without sounding too threating

I've just turned around and yelled "shut up", "stop kicking my seat", etc.

That's about it.

I have on a couple of occassions asked people to be quite. When they refused I left the cinema and got a refund. No point in getting into an argument with scum.

I just go get the usher. That's his job. I just don't understand why people pay good money to see a movie, and then sit there and socialize. Park benches are a lot cheaper.

I got up out the the theater after I shushed the a-holes talking during Ironman and got security.
It works but you will miss part of the movie.

Talking

Get up, get the manager have them dragged out ! Then demand free tickets for this outrage Years ago, when they played Pink Floyd The Wall at Midnight Most that attended were really messed up, including me. However, we had to watch out for the undercover cops that were in there ! You would hear a beer bottle roll down the isle. And then wham the police would escort them out !

simple get up, act as if you are a manager in the theatre and request the group to be quite otherwise, you will kick them out, and they won't get refunds.

i had two occasions: ( in which I said something)

1st: almost fist fight after the movie
Movie: Saw
Location: Syracuse, NY
Reason: Group of 20's somethings started to shout and make fun of the movie at the awesome ending = me getting very pissed
Company: Just me and my then girlfriend
Age of me: 20

The Story: After the movie, I walked over and started shouting at the group...saying how they ruined the f'ing movie and that I saw 15 year olds here who keep their mouths shut and crap like that....my girlfriend pulled me away and their girlfriends restrained there boyfriends....luckily nothing more then that happened since I was outnumbered and they were bigger than me...lol....plus this was inner city Syracuse, I probably would have gotten stabbed or something....lol

2nd Incident: told a family of three to shut up
Movie: King Kong (3 hrs)
Location: Middletown, NY
Reason: I could not hear the movie and they are ruining my expierence
Company: Me and my mom
Age: 21

The Story: was wathcing King Kong and this family of 3, husband, wife and young son were all talking and making fun of the movie....the husband was saying it was a 200 million waste of money and he hated it and we were only like 45 mins into it...the wife was telling the son what was happening because I guess he had an attention span of 30 seconds (dont bring the kids if he cant pay attention...whats the point? or your husband who is no better then the son?) I turned around and told them to shut up because they are making me lose focus and not hear the movie.....I also treatened to get security...they were quite

I heckle movies theatrically, however only when we're the only people in the theater, and when the hoppers show up(who comes to a movie 20 minutes in after 20min of trailers?), I don't shut up, but I do lower the volume

Best theatrical experience EVER still A Sound of Thunder

Start calling them any sort of offensive insults. Personally I prefer:

"Whippersnappers"

"Scamps"

"Rapscallions"

"Ne'er-do-wells"

When someone is talking during the movies, I can easily shut them up by saying shut up. I guess being 6'5" 325 pounds helps too! Hahahahaha!

You can make it more scary when you say it with popcorn coming out of your mouth or nacho cheese dripping down the side of your mouth.

Our theater will give you a pager type thing that pages the front and they send an usher in so I don't even have to get out of my seat.

I'm jealous! I've never been to a theater that has anything like that.

Usually when I go to the movies, I try to go as early as possible, so that way there's less people that make noise there. I've had successful moviegoing experiences the last few times because of going early.

Theres a certain time of day to go here. Knowing early evening around 5pm is bad, I still went and saw Iron Man. Bad Idea

It is really nice when we go on Friday or Saturday nights, lots of annoying little kids. We usually go earlier anymore and it hasn't ever been a problem at 11 am showing, it is cheaper too.

I treat them like my dog when it barks too much: I squirt them with a water pistol.
