Default Black out item for a sliding glass door?

What would a good curtain or other thing be to completely black out a sliding glass door? It's got to be something that is white on at least one side (stupid condo rules). It should also come in different sizes so I can get a couple for different size windows.

I'm looking at completely changing how I have my tv set up, and the room I want to move it to has next to no curtains, so gets nice and bright during the day =(.

Also, does anybody own a Bush television stand? I've been looking at the Bush - Midnight Mist stand, and wanted to know if anybody has had any major problems with them?

IIRC there are magnetic mats that can be set against metal frame windows that will completely block all light.

In my neighborhood we use 2 things...
  1. Tin Foil(Great For Making Meth Or Growin Weed)
  2. Old Newspapers(So The Neighbors Can Enjoy The Sunday Comics)

*laugh* I would have done the tin foil, but the condo association (sp?) for some reason doesn't want us to do that. They keep wanting to look snazzy. *grumble*

I know quite a few people who use Bush TV stands, and they all seem pretty happy with them. But they all have wood shelves, not tempered glass. I'm always afraid of this happening.
