Default For which Blu-ray title did you pay the most?

For me, it was Planet Earth ($56). The most I paid for a single BD was Rush Hour 3 ($35--Couldn't wait for a sale).

Paid the most for Casino Royale (I believe) - can't remember the exact price, somewhere between $39 - $45. Definitely not worth anywhere near that amount of money for such a crappy movie IMO, but mainly just bought it because I didn't have any BDs to watch and heard it had good PQ (the ONE exception).

I think my wife paid $40 for MI:III when it was released November 06. Personally, I spent $79 for the Die Hard Quadrilogy. I sure do regret that as there was an Amazon BOGO about two weeks later. For an individual title, I think I spent $28.99 on Shooter when it was released. I don't think I have personally spent more than $30 on a single title. Now I am even more price considerate and don't spend more than $20 unless its a new release I really want like Narnia for $22.95.

Got pretty good prices on my two box sets:

Die Hard Collection - $54 on Half.com
Planet Earth - $49.99 at Best Buy

The only three singles I've ever paid more than $25 for:

POTC: AWE - $29.99 at Target
Sunshine - $27.99 at Best Buy
Blade Runner - $27.95 at Amazon

I haven't paid over $25 for a single since February 5th, nor over $20 since March 18th. Thanks to this forum, my uninformed-buyer days are over.

Cool always searching for bargains

I paid 34.95 for The Golden Compass becasue I got it 2weeks before it was released. I paid 32.95 for No Country for Old Men also because I got it 2 weeks before it was released as well. There is a store in my town that sells new and used CD's/DVD's and they always sell the movies as soon as they get them. I really wantef these 2 so I splurged and paid full sticker. Every other Blu-Ray I have was either free (Dave Mathews, The Fifth Element), used and cheap (We Own the Night, Across the Universe, Michael Clayton for $14.99 each!), or on a special deal from Amazon or Best Buy. I have a general rule of not paying more than $20 for a Blu-Ray...... unless I really want it. I am gonna buy There Will be Blood early for full price for sure.
