Hmmm I googled it, and it said "coming April 4th" so I don't know why I saw that commercial on Spike last night...... odd.

My cable service currently doesn't have Spike TV in HD. Does anyone else?

-I have Time Warner. Do I need to pay for an additonal package or something? I have TBS/TNT/etc in HD.

Whenever you see it on Fox, Spike, or HBO in HD don't expect it in true HD. They look good but it can be a lot better. I remember episode 3 came on HBO HD and it looked ok. You can tell it had more potential

Thats something you are going to have to pay extra. Don't know if we'll get it in Feb. 09

Didn't realize it was "09" didn't know why they'd advertise it a year in advance.... but then again, there are a lot of fanatics out there, and I'm sure the exclusive HD Rights probably cost Spike a FORTUNE....

Thanks for the info, atleast I know that I'm currently not missing out on something great. I see that Spike shows a lot of great movies, but I pick TBS and TNT over it because I get to watch them in HD.

Default Episode IV in HD

I saw it on this past weekend in HD on Spike and it really looked good considering it not having a remastered HD release yet. I'm fairly sure that Lucas would have the foresight to have mastered his latest reworks in the highest available res (4k?), but to see an HD airing on cable before he milks it with umpteen video releases amazed me.

btw - DirecTV has it.

As far as the main channels you should have NBC, CBS, FOX, TNT, TBS. Don't know if you get ABC over there but we don't

Pretty sure it's not an advert. for '09 -- Spike's been running those movies (all 6 episodes) for over a month now.

Yeah, that's not for next year. They mean this year because Star Wars has been on every weekend for the past month.

I have Comcast and Comcast sucks when it comes to HD channels. No Spike HD.
