Thumbs up Universal Studios unveils Blu-ray packaging design!

Check it out...

Also seems to be a new tagline "Blu-ray: The Ultimate Hi-Def Experience. Perfect Picture, Purest Sound from Universal Studios Home Entertainment."

I got a glimpse of it before I refreshed the window and discovered it was moved. Similar to the Sony style, except the lower banner is concave instead of convex, and there's no oblong cigar-shaped title bar on the spine.

All I see is Photobucket.

Are you sure this is the region A packaging design?

It's a Region B design. That's why we can't see it. ... [Edit] Ahh, there we go.

Ahh....now I can see it. Pretty sweet. Even though Rhona Mitra is SOOO hot , I probably still won't buy it because that movie was a real snooze-fest. I will say that the packaging looks good, and I am so thrilled that Universal has joined the blu bandwagon.

While I would still prefer no banner taking up all the artwork, this is MUCH better than the HD DVD covers... it looks VERY good!

Where do you see that tagline? I only see the part I bolded above on the packaging. I don't see anything about perfect picture or purest sound...

Am I missing something?

I second this. Where is the second part of the tag line?

Sure. I really like this movie’s kaleidoscope mix of themes. Like that mini-concert in the middle; I was like “What the f? Why is this in the movie?” It is awesome because it is grotesque.
