Excellent. Count me in. Nice price too. This one makes since Lionsgate doesn't have a ton of well-known films in their catalog and this is one of their older properties that they've cashed in on a couple times on DVD with different editions. Next, I'd like to see Warner announce Stone's 'JFK'. Maybe when 'W' comes out on Blu.

I hope I can get it to review. This is a film that I would love to be able to officially comment on quality wise. It's one of those films that deserves the best treatment. And, if it doesn't get it, then the studio needs to suffer by not selling any copies.

This is one of my favorite DVD purchases. The scene in the desert, where The End is playing, is my favorite on the DVD. It will be a double dip for me, like most Oliver Stone movies will be.

You know I just watched this the other day and was thinking "Man I sure hope Lions Gate gets to this one" because the DVD is atrociously bad PQ-wise. But now there isn't a single Lions Gate catalog title I want that hasn't been released or about to be released, although they could go back and re-tweak The Punisher, American Psycho, Terminator 2, and Reservoir Dogs and I wouldn't complain.

It was actually pretty eerie how much Val Kilmer looked like Jim Morrison in this movie. I'm a long time fan of the Doors, so it was cool seeing a movie that chronicled and expanded upon some of Jim Morrison's life. While I have some problems with the movie, I did like it overall. For those of you out there that have never read "No One Here Gets Out Alive", I would highly recommend it. Also, it's pretty neat to check out his poetry and musings in "An American Prayer" (killer album as well) and "The Lords and the New Creatures".

Looking forward to getting this movie in high-definition, as it will be a day one purchase. The soundtrack is powerful and rich with songs, so it's worth it for the audio score alone.
