When is the DaVinci code being released on Blu-ray? - Blu-ray Forum

I remember seeing it at the Digital Life convention in Sep of 06 but never heard of a release date for it?

anyone care to shed some light on this?

No rumors or reports on this one. This is still the beginning of blu-ray and a lot of films are expected to be released on blu-ray. All I can say is " Kick back and wait" because all the titles that people are waiting for will be released on blu

Maybe somethime to coincide with the theatrical release of Angels & Demons. Of course this would be a long wait since the movie doesn't come out until May '09.

funny thing is that the da vinci code was planned to be released initially as one of the first blu-ray titles... i wonder what happened?

Who really cares? The movie botched the book and Ron "White Bread" Howard has not directed anything worth noting since APOLLO 13. He and Brian Grazer need to stop making generic movies.

I thought A Beautiful Mind was excellent although from what I understand it took a lot of liberties with the truth (although most of these "based on" movies do).
