Default Jodi will look at Sony 32" XBR6

First, thanks to all who have responded to my earlier post, "looking for a new TV".
I will be checking out the Sony KDL-32XBR6, of which I have heard nothing but STELLAR reviews and comments. It's definitely not bad for a $1200 or less 32" set. I'm just not ready for a really big set right now, with 1 year of school and then PhD. school looming.
I'll let you all know what I think of the 32XBR6.

Jodi

I just bought it yesterday and my words: AWESOME!! The price ir fair, you will get a 32" 1080p!!!!!! As soon as I saw this new Sony models I was surprised about them with this one. I bought 2 years ago a 32 HD Ready Olevia set. I was quite happy with it, considering I paid the same price, $1,199 to buy the Olevia. Sony made a great movement by bringing this model. I know Olevia is one of the Cheap choices in the market, but it did a good job til yesterday. I will take it to my office and use it in the meeting room for presentations. Now I am happy with my new XBR6... My opinion: Buy it if you can!!!
Best,
DJ Headd

it really is an awesome TV (and 37inch out soon) got it instead of an Apple 30''HD monitor, and it works like a dream, with more features too and half the price.

the only thing I notice is the pixel flashing if you look for it. It happen when using HDMI cable.
I change the cable, the player, exchange the tv , same thing, so I guest all XBR6 does .
You have to view and look closely at the dark scene to able to find out the pixel are flashing like a beacon
