Hi!, I'm new to the forum and I have a big issues with dubbed Blu-Rays.
I'm from Spain. Here you can find Blu-Rays, but not so much titles (because is a very little market), but I love movies and I want to watch some titles that will appear in my country with a lot of time delay (or they'll never be releases, like a lot of DVDs). Here, we dub the movies, as in other american countries. They dub them in spanish as we, but each country have some details that the dub can't deliver, and in 'Spain's spanish', they differ a lot. [If your native tongue is spanish and you had watched some movies with the two dubs, you know what I'm talking about] There are Region A movies that had 'the Spain's spanish dub' and others the 'American spanish dub'. They're not better or worse, just different, but in the cover or the info on the web, it says only 'spanish'. What a lot of people here in Spain (and other countries too), want to know is which one is in which movie. The problem is the way. The only way is to buy the movie, and if you have your desired spanish, bingo!, if not, you can watch it with subs (but sometimes we have the same differences with the subs too). I just screaming help to have a sticky or whatever here in this amazing forum, just saying which spanish dub is in which movie, because is impossible to know before buying. For example, Ocean's 11 & 12 had a Spain's spanish and Ocean's 13 don't, it had American spanish. The only way to know before buying is if someone has the movie and they select the language and recognize is by 'Spain's spanish' or 'American spanish'. It could be a little and pointless thread to someone, but I swear, there are a lot of people that don't buy Region A titles because of this and want to have some 'database' with the answer. Thanks a lot for your time on reading this! Edit: I have a short list of dubbed in 'Spain's spanish' not the american one. The point is not to discover which are in 'Spain's spanish', the point is to tell which is in which title, to help all spanish speakers I don't know how to difference the two, so right now I'll call them as before, 'Spain's Spanish' and 'American Spanish'. If we can keep the differences with the dubs, could be awesome! Confirmed American Spanish Dubbed Region A Titles: . Confirmed Spain's Spanish Dubbed Region A Titles: 2001 - A Space Odyssey A Clockwork Orange Eyes Wide Shut Full Metal Jacket Harry Potter And The Chamber Of Secrets Harry Potter And The Goblet Of Fire Harry Potter And The Order Of The Phoenix Harry Potter And The Prisoner Of Azkaban House Of Flying Daggers Ocean's 11 Ocean's 12 The Night Of The Werewolf/Vengeance Of The Zombies The Omega Man The Untouchables V For Vendetta Last edited by Just A Little Blu; 05-22-2008 at 07:10 PM. |
