I figured this warranted its own thread due to the confusion. (well mine anyways).
I Used to own a Sony KDL 46V2500 with no "full pixel" capability. I now own a Sony KDL 52W3000 WITH "full pixel" capability. I always watch the OAR of the director, well this seems like a farce of sorts. When watching my old set without "full pixel" i had a larger viewing area of the movie that i assumed was of course the OAR? Now im told that "full pixel" is the way to go on my new set which further increases the black bars at the top and bottom . . . Altering my original thought of what OAR was on a movie i already watched without "full pixel" in OAR. Really now?? |
