remember when people claimed : windows will never run on the playstation 3...

just one more reason why the playstation 3 is not just a game console....

granted it. the windows 2000 is not compiled for the playstation 3. nor do i realy care otherwise. it's just this back's up the claim of the playstation 3 as a computer not just a game console . now if we can get access to the other RAMin the system that would be swell.

You sitll have to go through linux but it is still very interesting

sorry i could not resist. ...now that the playstation 3 is confirmed getting a copy of AmigaOS4/5 an since more copy's of diffrent distro's of Linux the playstation 3 is getting a ton of support out there not just GAME support though there is plenty of game support, which is very good the great thing about this is its showing that the PLAYSTATION line has finaly moved on from just being a game console.

they have got xp to run on its own on the ps3 but it is so slow becuase xp is made for x86 and x64 plat forms not cell or ppc or dare i say ititum
