Default thinking about getting a TV need some help here...

I know a little bit about TV's and brands but figured this was the best place to go for advice, I was going to choose between the Sharp Aquos LC52D64U 52-inch 1080p LCD HDTV and the Sony Bravia V-Series KDL-52V4100 52-inch 1080p LCD HDTV I know Sony is suppose to be the best but heard great things about the Sharp Aquos all feedback is welcomed, Thanks

The Sony features 24p, I don't believe the Sharp does. Neither are 120Hz, but I would chose the Sony. I have a 60Hz Sony V series, and it looks great. Go in store and see what you think...

Queue guys saying "Neither get a plasma or this LCD"

go into circuit city and tell them you want to see a lcd tv displaying 120hz on blu-ray. You can look at all and any numbers you want, but it's your eyes that will tell you what you want.

And ask 'em to change the motionflow settings so you can see the difference there as well. :P

Any size samsung 71 series. they're discontinuing them too so you can get them for cheap. go to best buy, they're even selling the displays for about $1400. very good deal. 1080P, 120hz(can turn to low, med, high), 15,000 contrast ratio.
