Default Chris Angel walking on water...how?

This has gotten me boggled. Anybody know how he does it? You can watch it on YouTube. There are people that swim in front, behind, and under him.

I'd have a lot more faith on it (that it was a first class illusion) if everyone in the pool wasn't obviously a hired actor (they're all beautiful people) and if it was actually one continuous shot.

He's using glass of some kind and they only lay a bit at a time so people can swim in fron of him or behind him. Then they stop, move it and continue on. That or he's very strong and they have him on a wire rig, and he's faking the walk

I was thinking about something like that "wire rig". I don't know but it was driving me crazy the other night. His other stunts are pretty easy to figure out, but not this one....

Don't worry Fox will explain it in their next "Magic Revealed" special.

I didn't like it. You can see it is mixed method. Sometimes the foot shots are like he is just holding his foot in place and moving it as if he is suspended by wire. Then the wide shots clearly he is planting his feet on a solid such as glass or plexi. To many cuts and angle changes.

All setup.

I was not impressed.

Although I am totally into good Illusions. This one FAILED!

the side views looked like he was standing on something solid, the looking down view his feet looked like he was being suspended from wire.

to me the real illusion was the camera trickery.

because s**t floats?? wakka wakka!! seriously, the guy is a bit of a tool IMO but hes is a great illusionist, but that's def all it is, an illusion.

I saw a youtube vidoeo that showed how he does his levitation trick. It seemed ridiculously simple but it looks great. the kicker was he was the one who showed exactly how it was done. It looked like it was being shown to tv execs in hopes of selling his show. Why he would have videotaped this with the possibility of it getting out is still way beyond me.

Every magic trick you ever see with anyone participating from the audience who could possibly see how the trick is done is a paid actor. Even when you think they aren't in on the trick they probably are. Penn and Teller are great because they spoil so many "Illusions" for magicians.
