NEW D-BOX Theater Chair for Blu-Ray/DVD

I was at my local Hi-Fi store this past week and they were demo-ing this D-Box movie theater chair which connects to a controller that connects to your home theater system. The unit recognizes over 700 titles and moves the chair according to the actions on the screen. I was fortunate to demo the plane crash scene in Cast Away. During the normal flight the seat had a slight vibration just like a real aircraft, then boom! The chair started to shake and twist as the plane spiralled down towards the ocean. After impact and me almost being tossed out of the seat the chair went in to a watery wave motion to simulate treading water. I was totally blown away. For 15 minutes it was OK, I think watching a 2 hour movie would get annoying especially while trying to consume your favorite alcoholic beverage. You can adjust the amount of violence the chair puts out for those who may have cervical spine injuries...ha.
