What is a Sticky Thread? - Blu-ray Forum

What is a Sticky Thread compared to regular threads? I see a push pin on them. What are sticky threads and why is there a difference from regular threads?

Sticky threads are basicly usually more important threads that are being discussed more frequently, e.g. The PS3 game release dates or neilsan vid scan. (I'm not entirely sure, its hard to put into words, but I know what there there for).

They remain at the top.... so they are easy to find......

So unlike normal threads, they contain important information

Oh. OK, so threads with a lot of hits. Keep them at the top for a quick and easy find for everyone?

It's to cut down on the endless threads on why I have back bars in my picture, 1080i vs 720p and is DVD up-conversion as good as 1080p blu-ray.
