It was live three hours ago What's on now is the rerun.

Wayne's World was definitely the best part. The rest was pretty lackluster, as usual. Best Movie award . . . I think not.

Haha I remember when Napolean Dynamite came out and got all those MTV movie awards. Of course it would, it was put out by MTV films.

MTV has about as much credibility as the majority of our politicians. Total POS channel run completely into the ground.

The Pussycat Dolls are on now and I must admit that I don't understand a world that finds them talented.
They would make good porn stars, as long as they didn't have many speaking lines.

About the only thing I watch anymore is the Movie Awards. Not so much for the awards, but because the stars seem to enjoy it and sometimes you get some good bits from it. The bit with Ben Stiller, Jack Black, and Robert Downey Jr about marketing Tropic Thunder as starring Panda and Iron Man was pretty good. As was Wayne's World.

Transformers wins best movie of 2007, come on.
The plot was so bad that I felt embarrassed to be seen leaving the theater.
Even the effects were way too chaotic to be considered as great.
The acting was dreadful. The romance between Shia and Megan was ridiculous and no more believable than the giant robots who fight to control the all powerful cube from space. The good robots weren't very good, the bad ones weren't very bad. The human characters were too boring to have any emotional investment in. I found myself laughing at the parts that were supposed to be serious and not laughing at the parts that were intended to be funny.
I hate that Hollywood is receiving encouragement to make more movies like Transformers that would've only made sense to me had I received massive head trauma shortly before viewing it.
That's what really grinds my gears.
Rant concluded.
I loved Ironman, so my dislike of Transformers has nothing to do with it being an action or comic book inspired movie.

The Tropic Thunder bit with Panda and Iron Man was freakin hiliarious!! I also thought it was classic when the kid basically told Robert Downey Jr. that Iron Man is done making money once Dark Knight comes out, hahaha.

Why haven't they changed their name to "Reality TV" instead of MTV. I quit watching it years ago when you couldn't even find a decent music show, let alone even a music video.

Was down there today on the 'gold' carpet. Was pretty fun. Talked to a bunch of people including Mr Bay. Asked if he supervised the blu-ray edition of Transformers but I think he misheard us because he just said "I told you Blu-ray was going to win." I'll have to look over the footage to see what else he said.

Yeah, and what was it for 07 and 08? Paramount movies.. interesting. We're on to you Viacom! I honestly don't have a problem with Transformers and Iron Man winning those awards at all. I could have picked Zodiac for 07 but you get the point.

I got one word for this awards show. Hollywood take note:

E-M-B-A-R-R-A-S-S-I-N-G

If you let cinema idiots vote on the categories (this being Tweens and people who see only big ticket movies and watch MTV Reality on a regular basis) you get an embarrassing, shallow, awards show that showcases not only everything wrong with hollywood, but the exact reasons why a lot of other countries hate the US. Excess and idiocy.

Saw her, didn't talk to her. She rushed by pretty much everyone except the first major outlets. Did talk to the ***** Cat Dolls though.

I find all awards shows pretty lame...... there is an award for EVERYTHING..... isn't a paycheck reward enough?
