They are things that are normally hidden within the disc

Default Easter Eggs

I was curious if anyone is an expert at finding easter eggs on blu-ray movies? I don't really know how to go about finding codes and what buttons to push in sequence to get the hidden easter eggs. Why must we go through all this wouldn't it be easire to put all the extras in the menu...

Any help will be much appreciated...

Will someone please explain this to those of us that are not familiar with the terminology "easter eggs"?

Thanks.

an easter egg is a hidden feature in the menu system - they unlock hidden extras like deleted scenes or not seen before footage etc

Easter eggs are fun to find but when you break it down, its kind of a ***** knowing that there are extra features on my disc that I have to "find." It irritates me when they are not readily accessible

Yea i hear ya! Although the first one i found i was so disappointed in Ive never tried again... cant remember what movie but it changed to P or whatever the old school size is lol and was a "black and white" pencil drawing deleted scene... after watching a full length movie in hi-def then going to that you can see where the disappointment arose LOL

most often when in a menu or sub menu, you go up or left, it highlights a symbol press OK and you have a feature not listed

Default easter eggs

Has anyone uncovered any easter eggs hidden among your blu purchases? We all know about the hidden calibration tool on the Sony releases. And there are artist sketches hidded in the Simpsons blu (just toggle left on each of the title lines and it will go from a full highlight to an underline; click on the underline to access the sketches). But has anyone come accross any others. Please share if you have.

Try going here, it is a site of nothing but Easter Eggs: www.dvdeastereggs.com Not sure if they have any for BD's but give them a shot and see.

Good Luck Chuck: just hit right on every menu until it goes down the list then over to the right to get to the easter eggs

This is the first that I have heard of easter eggs on blu movies. I thought that easter eggs had gone the way of the Dodo. This thread should be sticky-ed.

How do you get to the calibration screen? Will this work with the PS3 Remote?

Press 7669 (spells "sony" on a phone keypad) on the remote, or via the on screen input.

How often do I need to do the calibration? Just once? Every time I put a movie in?
